Don't be fooled, you'll find no billionaire playboy beneath this hi-tech skin, only a series of wires and servos bent on the annihilation of the Battle Bears.
~ Official Battle Bears Gold description
The Iron Bear skin is a reference to the famous superhero Iron Man, a fictional character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. It features B-1000 in golden armour, with a red or blue secondary highlight depending on its team colour. It has a white power core that has the same shape as the Battle Bears Gold icon replacing the usual H.I.P. symbol on other skins, another play on Iron Man. While on the red team it will appear quite similar to Iron Man's various MK suits, with red and gold being the original colour of his suit. It has white, vacant eyes.
- Iron Bear is a pun on the famous superhero Iron Man, a fictional character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. He made his first appearance in Tales of Suspense #39 (March 1963).
- The description suggests that B-1000 was made to kill the Battle Bears, which is consistent with the Assault's description, although the Battle Bears logo suggests otherwise.
