The Balance Beam is one of the seven primary weapons for the Chub Scout. It deals high damage, is mostly accurate, and has a long, but finite, range.


The worse your team is doing than the other team, the more powerful this weapon is.

Usage

The Balance Beam works like a standard hitscan automatic, firing beams in quick succession that damage an enemy when it touches them. It is perfectly accurate and can reach long, but finite distances. The Balance Beam fires slightly below the crosshairs. In Team Battle and Plant the Bomb, if a player's team has fewer kills in Team Battle or bomb plants in PtB, then this weapon deals more damage. If their team has more kills, this weapon deals less damage. In a Free-For-All, its damage will increase if the player is doing badly and decrease if they are doing well. The exact calculation system is unverified.

For every kill/bomb in which the player's team is winning or losing by, the Balance Beam will have a decrease or increase of one damage, with the minimum damage being 1 damage per shot. There is no maximum damage per shot. It is very effective for long range as it is quite accurate and meant for use when its user's team is losing, which allows for high damage output to kill troublesome opponents more easily.
